In the Strategic roadmapping work package, the partners seek to generate maximal synergies from previous strategic and conceptual work conducted in the fifteen partner initiatives. Most of the initiatives represented in GEH have put forward strategic documents strictly tailor made for their thematic remit and precisely defining needs and requirements. The partners will deeply analyse these papers in order to identify current and future needs for joint research (funding) and programming activities taking into account also EU policy and stakeholder needs.
Based on the analyses provided from this, but also based on the strategic directions from the national research programmes involved in GEH, the partners will organise three transnational calls for proposals during the lifetime of the CSA. Each call will provide direct funding for R&I projects/networks addressing crosscutting issues & multidisciplinary focus areas of research at the thematic interface of two or more of the previous ERA-Nets.
